Key Responsibilities:
- Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency management plans for all domestic hazards that could affect the Department.
- Training & Exercises: Conduct training programs and simulated exercises to test and improve readiness.
- Continuity of Operations: Ensure critical functions can continue during and after emergencies.
- Interagency Coordination: Work with other agencies to align emergency management strategies and share resources.
- Leadership Support: Provide guidance and expertise to Department leadership on emergency response and recovery.
